Prof. (Dr) Manoj Kumar Pradhan joined Govt. B.Ed. Training College, Kalinga, Kandhamal, as Principal (I/C) on 03 March 2023.
Dr. Pradhan had joined Odisha Education Service (College Branch) as a lecturer in Education in 1999. Then he was promoted to the position of Associate Professor in Education in 2019 and subsequently to the position of Professor in 2022.
Having completed his M.A. (Education) and M.Phil (Education) from Ravenshaw College, he completed his Ph.D. degree in Education from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar,as a JRF under UGC. He has also done a Master Degree in English from IGNOU and PGDTE from English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad.
He has published more than 22 research articles in national, international and UGC care listed journals. He has been guiding more than 8 Ph.D. scholars out of which three scholars have already been awarded Ph.D. degree.
He has been actively involved in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the students.
Dr Dipak Kumar Mohanty is an Assistant Professor (Teacher Education) in Mathematics.
He has obtained PhD degree in Stochastic Programming from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He has also completed M.Sc. in Mathematics and M.Tech. in Computer Science from Utkal University Bhubaneswar. Further, he has obtained B.Ed. degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Dr Mohanty has 16 years of teaching experience. He has worked at many reputed institutes like Odisha Engineering College Bhubaneswar, IIT Kharagpur, and KIIT Deemed to be University Bhubaneswar prior to joining OES (I), Govt. of Odisha.
He has published many research papers and patents in many reputed international journals and presented many research papers in many national and international Conferences.
He was awarded as best paper presenter in two different conferences at IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Kharagpur. His areas of expertise include Soft Computing, Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Vision.
Sri Bichitra Kumar Behera works as an Assistant Professor (Teacher Education) in Political Science.
Before joining OES, he worked as Trained Graduate Teacher(Arts) in Capital High School, Bhubaneswar, where he taught English, History, Political Science, Geography and Economics.
He is expert in Political Science.
He has completed his graduation from Godavarish Mahavidyalaya in 2016, M.A. in Political Science from Utkal University in 2018 and B.Ed from DibakarPattnaik Institute of Advanced Studies in Education in 2020.
He has qualified National Eligibility Test(NET), Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test(OTET), Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test(OSSTET), and Central Teacher Eligibility Test(CTET). He was the Principal-in-charge of Government B.Ed Training College, Kalinga, Kandhamal, from 1 February 2023 to 2 March 2023.
He has participated and successfully completed a 4-week Faculty InductionProgrammeconducted by Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi.
Sri Susanta Kumar Rana is an Assistant Professor in Pedagogy of History.
He has completed his Master of Arts in History from North Odisha University and MA in Education from DAV college Koraput under Berhampur University. He has done B.Ed. from U.G. CTE Baripada.
He has passed National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in Education.
He has taught at Renuka Debi B.ED. College, Shyamnagar, Nadia, West Bengal for two years and as an Assistant Teacher at Govt. High School, Bhimpurguda, Rayagada, for 11years prior to joining OES, Govt. of Odisha.
Sri Soumya Ranjan Nayak is an Assistant Professor in Pedagogy of Economics.
He is an MA in Economics from Berhampur University.
He has also done B.Ed. from Berhampur University and B.A. in Economics from Khalikote Autonomous College, Berhampur.
He is a National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) qualified in Economics.
Sri Nayak has eight years of teaching experience.
He has worked as a teacher at Government High School for 8 years prior to joining OES, Govt. of Odisha.
Mrs. Monalisha Nayak is an Assistant Professor specializing in the pedagogy of Botany. She earned her Master's degree in Botany from the prestigious Utkal University, Vanivihar.
In 2016, she qualified CSIR-JRF in life science.
Her dedication to education led her to further enhance her qualifications, and she successfully completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the Government Autonomous College, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi.
Prior to her current role, she taught as a guest lecturer in Botany for four enriching years at the Government Autonomous College, Bhawanipatna. Her journey to her current role as an Assistant Professor at the Government B.Ed Training College, secured through the OPSC, is a testament to her expertise and passion for teaching.
Shri Subrat Kumar Padhi is an Assistant Professor with 8 years of experience in teaching.
He is deeply familiar with Research in humanities & Social science.
He has Published more than Twenty chapters in Edited books apart from ten research articles in UGC care journals and other reputed national journals.
His areas of research interest are Cognitive Psychology, Science Education, Tribal Psychology and Learning Disability. He has been closely associated with small scale action research, construct development, research report writing and research proposal writing.
He has expertise in modern statistical techniques such as Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Classification & Prediction Machine Learning Models in Social Sciences.
He contributes to the designing of the CTET Question paper in Science Education.
Mr. Bikram Kumar Pradhan is an Assistant Professor in Odia (OES-1) in Govt B. Ed Training College, Kalinga, Kandhamal.
He is an M. A in Odia from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, B. Ed. from Berhampur University, Berhampur, Odisha. He has qualified NET in Odia.
Mr. Bikram Kumar Pradhan has 12 years of teaching experience in School and Mass Education Department, Odisha, followed by 6 years of experience as lecturer in KSUB College, Bhanjanagar, Department of Higher Educatoin, Odisha.
Sri Venkatesh Reddy Dungu is an Assistant Professor in Physics at Govt. B.Ed Training College, Kalinga .
Prior to this, he served as guest faculty in the department of Physics, Rajive Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Srikakulam.
He has also served as guest faculty in AP Model School & junior college. While working in different corporate schools and colleges, he guidedJEE and NEETaspirants.
He completed M.Sc. Physics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has qualified CSIR-JRF NET, Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test for Asst.Professor (APSET), and Telengana State Eligibility Test for Asst.Professor (TS-SET).
His areas of interest are education under public and private sectors, educational quality, equity and accountability.
Dr Sadananda Meher is an Assistant Professor in Pedagogy of English. He is a Doctorate in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the English and Foreign Languages University Hyderabad.
He has also done M.Phil. and B.Ed. in English Language Teaching from the same university after his M.A. in English from Ravenshaw university, Cuttack, Odisha and B.A. in English from G.M. Autonomous college, Sambalpur.
Dr Meher has eleven years of teaching experience. He has worked as a teacher at Sri Chaitanya Techno School for a year, and as a teaching assistant at the EFL University for three years. Post Ph.D., he has taught at Birla Global University for 6 years prior to joining OES, Govt. of Odisha.
His areas of expertise include multilingualism, Communicative Language Teaching, teaching language skills, action research and teaching grammar. His M.Phil. and Ph.D. research are on multilingualism where he has explored the significance of using learners’ mother tongue in the second language learning.
He has presented papers in national and international conferences including teacher educator conference organised by British Council. He has published seven papers in national and international journals including British Council publication. E-content is his new-found interest. He has produced 5 modules of e-content as a part a MOOC by N.C.E.R.T on the SWAYAM platform.
Smt Bebirani Shee is an Asst. Professor in Pedagogy of Bio-Science in the dept of Teacher Education .
She has completed her Master in Science(Botany) from Utkal University, Vani Vihar and M.Ed. from IGNOU. She has done B.Ed. from CTE, Balasore. She has completed PGDCA from Joint Venture under F.M. University, Balasore. She has done two MOOCs on OER for TE and Statistical analysis. She also has completed two orientation program and one Refressor course.
She has qualified UGC-NET in Education.
She has taught in Govt. High School of Odisha for 8.5 years, DIET, Balasore as Teacher Educator for 8 years prior to join OES, College branch, Govt. of Odisha.
Mr. Kishore Chandra Nayak is an Instructor in Art Education.
He has also done M.V.A Master in Visual Art in Printmaking Department from Utkal University of Culture , Bhubaneswar, Odisha and B.V.A in Applied Art from Balasore Art & Crafts College, Balasore, Odisha.
Mr. Kishore Chandra Nayak is a visual artist based in Balasore, Odisha.
